BASIC DIMENSIONS STANDARDS

DIMENSIONS​

 

Human measurement is a min. of 3' Dia. circle anywhere humans stand 4' in working spaces like kitchens and laundry. 

 

typical walls are 4"

behind toilets and dryers 6" wall

cabinets 2'

upper cabinets and closets are 1'

 

Doors

3' Outside and any room that needs big appliances to go thru a door.

 

2'8" bedrooms and living

2'6" bedrooms or bathrooms 

2'4" bathrooms or closets 

2'0" only if you have too

Minimum wall length on both sides of door is 4"

ADA STANDARDS

 

Human measurement is a min. of 5' Dia. circle anywhere humans stand 4' in working spaces like kitchens and laundry.

 

Doors

3' doors are prefer you could do a min. 2'8"
