AUTRY TECH DRAFTING/DESIGN
INSTRUCTIONS
RESOURCE
Draw the house plan to industry standards. Create a floor plan, roof plan, and elevations. You will need to place a door schedule and the correct annotations.
When you finish print on a D-size sheet of paper. And hand into your instructor.
Pro:
-Symmetrical Exterior
-Downstairs Master
-Open concept
-“Messy Kitchen”/walk through pantry
-Eat in dining/no detached “formal dining” room
-No wasted space. Each room is necessary.
-Under 3,000 sq ft
-half bath downstairs
Con:
-Asymmetrical bookshelves around fireplace/looks wimpy. Please see 2 examples under #1 below of what I would like.
-Not enough windows on back of house. We would like lots of natural light and a view. Please see 2 views of the same room in example #2.
-The house will face east. There is a pond to the southwest of where the house will be. On the plans above, the garage would block the view. It needs to be moved elsewhere, either to the other side or back of the house.
-if possible, we would like to separate the mushroom and laundry rooms. But this is not a necessity.
-IF possible, I would like the vent hood in the kitchen to align with the fireplace, rather than being off set like it is in the current plan.
